24 Hours On The Isle of Harris

In 2018, I was asked to make a pit stop on the beautiful Isle of Harris as part of a week long collaborative commission with Hostelworld and Visit Scotland

A birdseye view of brown leather boats, overlooking turquoise water on a boat trip.

Sailing towards the seclusion of the Outer Hebrides, boat rocking side to side, and the gentle touch of the cool sea breeze on my face - it’s hard to remember a time when I felt so alive. As the rocky outcrops of Harris and Scalpay came into view, the sun began to dip below the horizon and a pod of Dolphins welcomed the boat as it approached Tarbet.

I was excited to experience life on the edge.

Harris will steal your heart if given half the chance.
